What is a suspension system?

It is installed between the car’s frame and wheels,
and consists of spring, shock absorber and many other links.
Suspension systems have 2 main roles.

First is to maintain the ideal posture of the frame and wheels to maximize contact and grip with the ground so that the driver can stably control the vehicle as needed.

Second is to reduce incoming shocks so that the driver and passengers can ride the vehicle comfortably.

SHOCK ABSORBER

Functions of SHOCK ABSORBER

A shock absorber eliminates vibration from the springs.
It converts the thermal energy from the spring’s kinetic energy so that the movement of the vehicle is optimized, that comfort/stability is achieved and that driving stability is improved.

SELF LEVELIZER

SELF LEVELING DAMPER

With damper and inner mechanical pumping structure, it is to maintain certain level of vehicle height regardless of variable vehicle load, obtaining vehicle safeness and comfortableness. During in driving, damper moves between the upper and lower sides in mechanical pumping structure, and the inner pressure prevents descending movement when the vehicle stops.
